Michal Krzysztofowicz – Flight Instructor

Mike has always been passionate about aviation, even if he started flying at a later stage in his life. His first foray into flying was in 2003 when he completed his Glider training in Poland. Shortly after completing his course he moved to Ireland where he put aviation temporarily on hold.

His passion was rekindled when he got an opportunity to fly in the British Antarctic Survey’s DHC-6 Twin Otter, in the right hand seat, over Antarctica at the end of his first Winter at Halley VI station.

He completed his PPL in 2017, and his CPL / ME / IR in 2020. In 2022 he became a Flight Instructor after finishing the FI training with Waterford Aero Club, where he now provides both Ground Instruction and Flight Training.
